Overview
The ARC Network is CESA #1’s place to find all content related to college and career readiness for students. This includes Academic & Career Planning (ACP), Regional Career Pathways (RCP) and Career & Technical Education (CTE): ARC!
The network format includes a time for state and regional updates, the presentation of best practices from local school districts, collaborative discussions between districts, and a main speaker on a focused topic area related to the network’s goals.
Hybrid Option: Teams can attend in person or virtually.
Objectives:

Facilitate best-practice sharing across regional districts in the areas of ACP, RCP, and CTE

Provide technical assistance in the review and implementation of the Wisconsin Career Readiness Standards

Explore strategies for improving equity and access to career pathway programs for underrepresented student populations

Provide opportunities to collaborate with EDOs and business leaders to foster a career-readiness ecosystem in southeastern Wisconsin

Increase the number and quality of Career Based Learning Experiences through partnerships with Economic Development partners and the Inspire tool

Bring it all together through a new tool: the Career Compass
Membership
Teams Encouraged! ACP coordinators, CTE coordinators, counselors, administrators, special education directors, and teacher leaders
Cost:
The cost for the CESA #1 ARC Network 2024-25 is $500 per team of up to 5 educators.
GREAT NEWS! Districts within the CESA #1 or M7 region that attend one 24/25 Career Readiness Video Conference are eligible to register their team for the ARC Network at NO COST.
