Overview
The CESA #1 Literacy Leader Network is a professional learning community with a mission to discuss, collaborate, and support one another as we deepen our understanding of high impact instructional practices and relevant staff development for our teachers.
Participants enjoy the opportunity to:
- Network with other reading specialists and literacy leaders throughout the school year
- Explore and reflect on current, high impact literacy instruction research, including new research on the science of reading
- Engage in collegial conversations with literacy coaches from other districts
- Reflect on a choice of professional readings to expand knowledge around best practices, upcoming literacy trends and pedagogy
