Leaders of mathematics are vital to schools. This network will allow participants to synthesize areas of best practices for math instruction. The goal of these sessions is to empower both teachers and students with curriculum that is rigorous and promotes equity. This series will help math leaders utilize tools and resources with teachers to:
- Reflect on high-quality, rigorous classroom learning as it aligns to the teaching practices for mathematics
- Share and access equitable resources across genres
- Align district curricula with Standards for Math and equitable practices
- Foster leadership at building/district level for mathematics instruction
The Mathematics Leader Network meets for a half day, six times per year and the audience is Teacher Leaders of Mathematics, Coaches, Coordinators, Interventionists, and Math Specialists.
Customized mathematics services including professional development, math instructional program analysis, and in-district consultation and coaching are available upon request.
